Established in 2008, and relaunched in 2011 as the
Organisation for African Development (OAD);
We’re an NGO that strives to promote scientific agriculture,
and advocate for a greater youth uptake of agri-biz, with the help of the arts and sports – most notably music and football.
We have conceptualised and designed an innovative flagship intervention program to help attain sustainable peace and ethical prosperity in Africa.
We aim to help create millions of jobs for African youth by working to make agriculture as Kofi Annan put it “sexy” ie; more attractive, appealing and rewarding.
Our flagship “FOODGOALS” initiative is comprised of the innovative "AFRICAN FARMERS & AGRICULTURAL RESEARCHERS (AFAR) AWARDS" with its associated programs - such as our "FOODGARDENS" for schools and households, and the "FREEDOM FARMS" youth rehab projects; as well as our draft AU policy proposal to institute an
“AFRICAN FARMERS DAY”.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
